Hydrodermabrasion, also known as an Aqua or HydraFacial, cleanses the skin effectively and deeply, removes dead skin layers and draws impurities out from deep within the skin. The treatment is suitable for all skin types, so you can use it for all your clients.
The Aquafacial also works well for wrinkles, dull skin or skin ageing, and for clogged pores or rough, dry and flaky skin. The treatment has an immediately visible rejuvenating effect, without downtime, peeling or other side effects.
As well as a deep cleanse, the treatment gives the skin intensive hydration and reduces dead skin cells. Clogged and enlarged pores are tackled thoroughly, so the skin visibly improves.
How it works
The device sprays a cleansing product onto the skin and immediately suctions it back up. This cleanses and rinses the pores intensively. The dirt is collected in a reservoir, so your client can see what has been drawn out. Afterwards the skin regains its natural glow.

The device has various tools and handpieces, each with its own function:
- Skin peeling: deep cleansing, removal of whiteheads and blackheads, sebum control and pore refinement.
- Ultrasound: for a smooth skin texture; activates the fibroblasts and improves skin elasticity.
- Multipolar radiofrequency: stimulates collagen, improves elasticity and promotes blood circulation and the lymphatic system.
- Iontophoresis: supports cell regeneration and skin elasticity; suitable for problem skin.
- BOHR handle: narrows enlarged pores, evens out the skin and counteracts fine lines.
- Cooling and heating handle: makes the pores contract, and stimulates circulation and the production of collagen and elastin.
- Oxygen sprayer: for cleansing the skin and infusing serums.
