We are currently the first in the Netherlands and Belgium to bring the portable Diode Laser ICE 4-Wave Master (QUATTRO-PRO) in size S to the market. Do you work at several locations, or do you want to treat people in their own homes? Then this compact laser really is for you.
Don’t be fooled by its size: in terms of how it works, results and software, this portable laser is just as powerful as its big brother. It works with the same four wavelengths: 755 nm, 808 nm, 1064 nm plus 940 nm. That means safer, more thorough hair removal and therefore fewer treatments.
The laser head works at a speed of up to 10 shots per second and comes as standard with a luxury display on the handpiece, for greater ease during treatment.
The integrated contact cooling is adjustable down to -16 degrees and protects the tissue during treatment, for maximum comfort for your clients.
How it works
The Diode ICE laser works with four wavelengths, each with its own role:
- 755 nm targets the bulge of the hair follicle, with more superficial penetration.
- 808 nm penetrates deep into the hair follicles for a fast treatment. Moderate melanin absorption, also safe for darker skin types.
- 940 nm coagulates the microvessels around the hair follicles. This cuts off the follicle’s supply of nutrients and inhibits hair regeneration.
- 1064 nm gives the deepest penetration, including on the most sensitive parts of the body and for deep-rooted hair such as on the scalp, in the underarms and in the pubic area.
The build-up of heat gradually heats and destroys the hair follicles beneath the skin in a controlled way. Unlike with IPL, the result is therefore lasting.
Schedule 4 to 6 weeks between treatments: only hair in the growth phase contains enough pigment to respond to the laser.

Frequently asked questionsWhat your clients will ask
The questions that come up in every salon, and the answers you’ll know by heart after the training.
With a diode laser the result is lasting: the hairs stay away. With IPL the result is temporary; after a while the hairs come back, because the hair follicles are not destroyed but temporarily paralysed.
The hair has to be in a growth phase, because only then is there pigment in the hair. Ideally there are 4 to 6 weeks between treatments, so that the hair is in a growth phase each time.
Yes. Laser treatments are safe and just as effective in summer, provided your client stays out of the sun for a certain period after the treatment and only has the skin treated by an expert.
Blond, grey and red hairs have little pigment; lasering is often not possible there. If your client has mainly dark hair with the odd blond or grey hair in between, you treat the area with the laser first.
